Stage 1 of our engagement is closing this Sunday. Parks and greenspaces quickly took the lead as the most liked aspect of Morley and remained there in top spot throughout, (46% of people responding chose this as a priority). Leisure and Sports Facilities are in second place (35%) with Town Centre shopping, restaurants, and Morley’s Heritage assets tying for third place (30%).
As we move into stage 2, which will open next week, we’ll be asking for your views on the project ideas that the Morley Town Deal Board has developed as a result of the issues you identified in stage 1. So all your pins on the map have been examined, and your views on how future investment into the town should be spent have been taken into account.
